VoIP Call Hunting
One of the many advanced features offered by VoIP service providers is VoIP call hunting. You will never miss another call.
With VoIP call hunting, if someone dials your phone number and you do not answer, the next number in your ring list will be dialed. This process will continue until either a phone is answered or the end of your sequence list is reached.
If the last number on the list is reached and not answered, the call will be sent to voice mail. The call list used for VoIP call hunting is easily set up in your VoIP service provider's web interface.
Example: You give your number to to a person from whom you're expecting an important call. That person calls the number you have given them, however you had to run to the supermarket to get some things. But because you have put your work phone and cell phone on your ring list, the person will ring each phone listed until they reach you. With VoIP call hunting, it's likely that you will never miss phone calls again.
