Many of the VoIP advanced features are not new to many phone users. However, what is new is that the services are included for one low price. To have advanced features with typical phone companies, you must pay an extra fee.

Caller Forwarding - allows incoming calls to be forwarded to a different number using predefined criteria.
Caller ID - allows the dialed party to see who is calling them before the call is answered. Many VoIP service providers only provide number-based caller id.
Call Hunting - creates a path for unanswered calls to follow in case you are on the phone or away from your main phone.
Simultaneous Ringing - allows several phones to ring at once when your phone number is called.
Do Not Disturb - allows you to set a specific time within a chosen time period when you would like to not receive phone calls.
